For God So Loved the World…

by michael on January 3, 2009

…That He sent His only begotten Son…  Perhaps you are familiar with John 3:16 in the Bible.  If not, or if you haven’t paused to reflect on its meaning lately, we encourage you to do that.  God loves YOU.  He loves you so much that he sent his only Son to wipe away your sin; all you have to do is accept Jesus into your heart and invite Him to be Lord and Saviour of your Life.

About this clip: These have to be two of our favorite scenes of the production. Theo was animated by John Pomeroy, and the mice by Huz. Theo’s true personality is captured in this clip when he speaks directly to camera. He truly is that excited about the gospel.

Falling Short of the Glory of God

About this clip: Recently we have received lots of positive feedback about this section of the short. In this clip you can see a different style of animation which was popularize by United Production of America in the late 1940’s/early 1950’s. We love the animation of the past and wanted to include this style of animation in Theo. Our inspiration for UPA style was found in classics like Toot, Whistle, Plunk, and Boom (Disney), and Gerald McBoing-Boing. In this clip the animation and character designs were done by Bob McKnight.
